In both music and business, it’s tempting to compare yourself to others. But remember: don’t compare your first year to someone else’s tenth. If you've been creating music in your basement but haven’t promoted it, it’s unfair to compare yourself to an artist who’s been sharing their work for a decade. Similarly, in business, you can’t measure your early steps against someone with years of experience building and promoting. These kinds of comparisons create unrealistic expectations, leading to frustration and, often, burnout.
